Today, we're excited to announce our partnership with AppSignal to bring easy monitoring and observability to your applications running on Hatchbox.

At Hatchbox, we're focused on making deployments to your own infrastructure as cost-effective and easy as possible. Once your apps are deployed in production, you quickly need monitoring and observability and that's where AppSignal comes in. Error and performance monitoring, log aggregation, host metrics, and more are all gathered in AppSignal so you can keep an eye on your infrastructure and applications to ensure things are running smoothly.

With our AppSignal integration, you can:

  • Jump to your AppSignal dashboard with shortcuts in the sidebar
  • Monitor processes like your Rails server with heartbeat Check-ins
  • Ensure cron jobs and database backups are running on time and on schedule
  • Capture logs for debugging failed backups or cron jobs
  • Observe errors and performance of your applications

To get started, visit your app's Settings -> Integrations -> AppSignal page and connect it to your AppSignal account. From there, you'll be able to check a box to enable process and cron job monitoring.
